In-depth Yoga Workshops

These specialized workshops are continuing education for yoga teachers and practitioners. We provide a certificate of completion.

Students who are enrolled in our 200-hour yoga teacher training program receive up to 16 hours of credit toward the program for these workshops.


Healthy Living through Yoga & Ayurveda

A new series from Janet Parachin, PhD


Janet Parachin is a certified yoga teacher, yoga therapist, and Yoga and Ayurveda Wellness Consultant. The workshops in this series demonstrate the power of the ancient wisdom of Yoga and the Eastern health system of Ayurveda to heal body, mind and Spirit.


Weight Loss Workshop

Sunday, February 18 from 4:00-6:00pm

$45 in advance or $55 at the door

Ayurveda teaches that maintaining healthy weight is NOT about counting calories and engaging in strenuous exercise, but rather supporting the health of one's digestive system. Join us to learn the truth about the "Biggest Loser" and what, when and how to eat to increase your metabolism to find your healthy weight. We'll explore the Yoga postures, meditations, breathing exercises and visualization that support weight loss. And learn about the surprising role of RELAXATION (hint: it has to do with stress).

Allergy Relief Workshop

Friday, March 23 from 6:00-8:00pm

Tulsa Yoga Meditation Center

$45 in advance or $55 at the door

Allergy season hits hard in Oklahoma so it's a good idea to prepare in advance. This workshop will explore natural ways to cope with allergies through nasal irrigation (learn to use a neti pot, y'all!), breathing exercises, and movement of the body to prevent congestion. Plus we'll explore what, when and how to eat to reduce allergens and boost immunity.
